Didrick X finger revolution

I have to plug this for my buddy Rick. This is some unbelieveable technology here. The X finger is a revolutionary invention that will give people who have had finger amputations their life back. It requires no learning curve and will provide an amputee with the ability to perform virtually any task they could before their injury. To top it off they will be very inexpensive. Check it out. Thanks for having a heart Rick.

Vibram Five Fingers Footwear

Our feet have hundreds of bones, joints, muscles, tendons and ligaments. Maybe giving our feet the protected exercise they need would prevent a lot of painful and expensive foot conditions. I’ve written about my personal testimony with Crocs and the advantages they have for feet, but maybe Vibram Five Fingers provides some additional benefits.

Have you ever wondered why foot problems are becoming more prevalent and at younger ages? Maybe its because we don’t exercise our feet the way we should. Could it be counter productive to be cramping our feet into expensive or custom made shoes that are supposed to be better for our feet? The Italian company, Vibram Five Fingers, seems to think this is the case. Vibram Five Fingers is on the radar and proving their worthy.

G1 Glass Pool Table

Transparent Pool Table

Transparent Pool Table

Featured here is the G1 glass pool table. The fully transparent surface of the G1 is constructed from a toughened glass and protected with a special resin leaving it with the feel of a typical pool table. Users claim they don’t notice a difference in the “feel” of the table or an effect on their game. I can imagine it would effect my game at least until I became used to seeing through the table. An additional effect is being able to watch the sunk balls as they travel down a rack that hangs from the support beams of the table to the holding tray. The price of this rich mans toy runs about $25,000. Enjoy.

I reported on the wireless charger concept quite a while back with WiTricity or wireless electricity. The Powermat wireless charger is in major retailers now. I have personally seen them on the shelves at Best Buy. You will need to purchase the receiver for your device which runs about $30 USD for an item such as the Iphone. The Powermat itself has a sticker price of $99.

HTC Imagio

HTC Imagio

It is highly likely we will be seeing the HTC Imagio XV6975 in early October. This CDMA/GSM devise is basically an HTC manufactured Iphone with a Microsoft OS. Microsoft claims they will blast 30 new smart phones for the new WinMo 6.5 by the end of the year. Verizon will be participating in the worldwide WinMo 6.5 rollout on Oct 6th. Who else will carry the HTC Imagio? The price of this trendy new technology is unknown.

Humaniod takes to the Microsoft Surface Table. By now most of us have seen a bit on the the Microsoft Surface and likely the Nao robot as well. Each are brilliance in engineering technology, but seen the two together is candy for the eyes and imagination. I can’t imagine what it would be like for someone that is completely unaware of these two technologies to see this Nao robot on the Microsoft Surface for the first time. Take a peek for yourself.

SleepTracker ProSleepTracker Pro
SleepTracker standard

SleepTracker standard

First, let me say that I have owned one of these for a couple years. To be more precise, I bought the SleepTracker Pro when it was in pre order. They say it is to be worn like an everyday watch. This is my only criticism on the SleepTracker. It is bulky and its colors are not attractive as an everyday watch for most people. On the other hand, for most people the practical function of the SleepTracker provides great benefits. This watch is designed as an alarm clock to help you wake up at the most optimal time.

We humans have multiple different levels of sleep. We cycle through all the levels about every 1.5 to 2 hours, so the average individual completes 4 to 5 sleep cycles per night. It is much more of a challenge to wake up out of a deep sleep than a light sleep. It also makes your sleep more restful when you wake up during the REM stage ( rapid eye movement stage ) rather than deep sleep, even if it is half an hour or even an hour earlier.

The SleepTracker watch tracks your sleep patterns by your pulse and allows the alarm to sound (or vibrate with the Pro version) while you are in your almost awake stage of sleep. You have the option of setting a window (anywhere from 10 to 60 minutes) of when you need to be awake. It will choose the most optimal time or wake you up at your selected alarm time.

In my personal experience, when setting a 30 to 40 minute window, it almost always wakes me up during the window. Frequently, I am in a light enough sleep to think “the alarm should be going off any second now”, and it does. Its great for people trying to get on a consistent schedule. Its also great for travelers, busy moms others not wanting to wake up groggy. For more detailed info and features of the different products click on over to the makers site.

Unborn Babies Use Twitter!

Fetus twitter usage

Fetus twitter usage

Sound crazy? Read this picture. If you are pregnant you can start a twitter account for your baby and he/she can start creating followers and making friends before there are even born. Can you guess where my mind is going with this?  No, no, no!  Connect that twitter account to an online business of some sort and have that fetus generating traffic to their own money making website so they can pay for their own birth. I know what you’re thinking, it sounds unrealistic. It may be a stretch but we both know if you can actually pull this off, the media publicity of your child being the first to pay for its own birth, would also probably generate enough income to pay for their college as well. I’m actually a little disappointed my wonderful wife in not expecting. I would definitely give that a try.

Enjoy.

beer-bike2

It’s a bar on wheels. Jump on and drink while you enjoy the tour up to 3 hours long. With 10 to 22 passengers peddling it makes for an easy ride. You will be protected from the weather elements while you soak in the sites and a beer or three. Provided the guide does a pleasing job, I’m not sure theirs a better way to see Amsterdam.
